Terms & Conditions

Pricing and Payment

  • All prices include VAT at 17.5%, if the rate of VAT varies prices will vary accordingly.
  • All prices are per Adult, child reductions of up to 50% may apply where the children share with two full price adults.
  • The Hotel has three single rooms on which no single supplement is charged, where an adult occupies a twin or double room for single occupancy a supplement will apply.
  • All accommodation and pricing is offered subject to availability at the time of receipt of deposit or Credit / Debit card secured booking and at the tariffs applicable to the SEASON.
  • A deposit of one third of the total booking value or one night (whichever is the greater) is required to secure the booking,
  • All deposits paid are non-refundable.
  • Prices quoted are subject to change until deposits have been paid.
  • All Accounts must be paid by CASH, CREDIT or DEBIT card on ARRIVAL; we regret that we are unable to accept cheques on arrival even if you have a guarantee card.
  • Where paying the full balance of your holiday by cheque, it must be received a minimum of 15 working days prior to the date of arrival.
  • All payments made by Credit (e.g. Visa / MasterCard) or Charge Card (e.g. American Express) incurs a 3% processing fee, payments made by Debit Card (e.g. Maestro / Solo / Switch) are exempt from this charge.

Cancellation or Curtailment

  • In the event of any cancellation or curtailment we will make every effort to re-sell the room(s) however if we are unable to re-sell the rooms the person making the booking will be liable to pay the TOTAL COST as per the reservation.
  • All deposits paid are non-refundable.
    As a consequence you are strongly advised to take some form of Insurance to cover your holiday in the event that you should need to cancel or curtail your break
  • Where a booking is secured to, but not charged to a Credit or Debit card and subsequently Cancelled or the guests fail to arrive (No-Show), We will make every effort to re-sell the room(s) however if we are unable to re-sell the room(s) the person making the booking will be liable to pay the TOTAL COST as per the reservation, we reserve the right to charge the card accordingly. In All cases we will charge your card with a deposit as per our policy above.
    As a consequence you are strongly advised to take some form of Insurance to cover your holiday in the event that you should need to cancel or curtail your break

Meals

  • Meals times are pre-arranged and no allowance can be made for meals not taken.
  • Our chef can cater for most special diets given 24 hours notice, regrettably if you have a special dietary requirement and do not inform us special meals cannot be provided on the day of arrival or breakfast the following morning.

Groups

  • Parties of 10 or more people must pay the total cost of the reservation in full at least 7 days prior to arrival, our cancellation policy for groups requires that you notify us at least 28 days prior to the date of check-in of any rooms you wish to release.
  • On large parties sleeping arrangements are as booked, i.e. Twins, Families, and Singles but sometimes it is unavoidable to put same gender parties in doubles, in these cases the organizer will where possible be notified in advance.
  • For the comfort of our guests, Hotel policy is that we do not accept large same sex bookings or those for Stag and Hen Parties. In the event that your reservation proves to be one or part of one of these groups, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation and retain any and all monies already paid either as deposit or balance and to charge any balances due to your card.

Damage

  • Damage caused to Hotel property by a member of your party will be billed, further that you agree that this may be charged directly to the Credit or Debit card used to secure or pay deposit, balance or part balance of the reservation.

General

  • Rooms are generally available from 2pm on the date of arrival and MUST be vacated by 10:45am on the date of departure, failure to depart at the due time may result in you being charged for an extra nights accommodation.
  • Car parking is entirely at the vehicle keeper's own risk, the Hotel accepts no responsibility for vehicles parked within its boundaries. Parking is allocated at the Hotel on a strictly first come first served basis, vehicles must be removed from the Hotel Car Park on departure of the guest. Guests are advised that the Hotel employs the services of a Parking Management Company which tows (£250.00 recovery fee) or clamps (£90 unclamping fee) unauthorized vehicles found in the Hotel car park, before parking in the car park please ask for a voucher (free of charge) from reception
  • Entertainment where advertised is subject to numbers.
  • Alcoholic drinks purchase outside the Hotel may not be consumed within the licensed areas.
  • Food purchased outside the hotel may not be consumed on the premises
  • Food may not be consumed within the bedrooms.
  • The proprietors cannot accept responsibility for the loss of guest's property unless it is handed in for safekeeping.
  • ALL ROOMS ARE NON-SMOKING and have been for the last two years.
  • Each room contains signage informing guests of our no smoking policy. Guests smoking in their rooms will be fined £50.00 on each occasion and may be asked to vacate the Hotel - no refunds will be given for any portion of the holiday not taken, that you agree that such fines can be charged directly to the Credit or Debit Card used to pay the Deposit or Balance of the reservation,
    Further that after 1st July 2007 any fines imposed on the Hotel by the Local Authorities as a result of smoking on the premises may be charged directly to the Credit or Debit Card used to pay the Deposit or Balance of the reservation.

Behaviour

  • Our guests chose to come to us because we offer a warm, friendly family environment, to facilitate this
  • The proprietors reserve the right to amend, curtail or terminate any contract should the conduct of any person who is a part of that contract cause detriment to the well being or comfort (physical or emotional) of any other guest or members of staff.
  • The Hotel operates a policy of zero tolerance to Violence or Intimidation, any guest believing this conduct to be acceptable behaviour will be required to vacate the Hotel immediately, no refund will be given for any portion of the holiday not taken.

Your attention is drawn to the fact that the act lodging a deposit means that a contract is in existence, the terms and conditions of which have been specified above. You may wish to avail yourself of Holiday Insurance as indemnity against charges incurred through cancellation or curtailment.
