Christmas at The Waldorf, Blackpool
Christmas Eve
After arriving at The Waldorf and settling in to your room at about 5:30pm we will be holding a reception in our Cabaret bar, Sherry, Port and Mince pies will be served and you will have an opportunity to meet your fellow guests and members of the staff.
Sit down to a superb candlelit dinner to set the mood for the evening ahead.
After dinner, join us again in the Cabaret Bar for the first night of fun, were going to start with a few party games to break the ice and a Christmas Quiz followed by a light supper and our first Cabaret act and music until the early hours of ........
Christmas Day
After a Hearty Breakfast the remainder of the morning is free for you to relax in our sun lounge or take a stroll along the promenade.
Join us in the sun lounge for Tea, Coffee and Mince Pies and at 1pm the first entertainment of the daytakes place in the Cabaret Bar, rumor has it that Santa will be popping by during his act with a gift for each good girl and boy.
Her Majesty the Queen's speech may be seen in the Lounge Bar at 3pm. and shortly after 3:20, Paul our Chef presents a superb five course Christmas Dinner in the Restaurant.
After dinner, for those who have the energy join Nancy our resident compare in the Cabaret Bar for Karaoke Christmas Carols (we have the words and music, you supply the voices) and Party Games
Our evening program commences at around 8pm with fun, games, cabaret and more followed by the Grand Christmas Buffet and more Cabaret
For those of you still with us, karaoke and music to dance to until the small hours of the morning.
Boxing Day
Enjoy a traditional English Breakfast or for those that have over indulged try our lighter Continental alternative between 9:00 and 9:30am, after which the remainder of the morning is free for you to check out the sales in the town centre or to relax in our sun lounge.
Paul serves a light lunch between 12:30pm and 1:30pm.
Then join us in the Cabaret Bar at about 2:30pm, another chance to Play "Hoy Bingo" and "Play Your Cards Right".
Dinner will be served at 6:30pm followed by more fun with Nancy and chances to win a super prize in the "Stars In Your Eyes" karaoke competition.
Cabaret appears on stage at shortly after 10:30pm after which there is be a tasty hot-pot supper and more music before bedtime
December 27th
A Traditional English Breakfast is served between 9:00 and 9:30am, then relax in our sun lounge, take a walk along the promenade, go Bargin Hunting at the Sales or join in the morning game of bingo and a quiz.
After lunch at 1:30pm join us for Bucks Fizz and an Afternoon at the races.
Following the farewell gala dinner at 6pm join us again in the Cabaret Bar for more fun with Nancy
At about 10:30pm a late supper will be served followed by Cabaret live on stage after which music and dancing until the small hours of the
morning.
December 28th
After a Hearty English Breakfast at 9am to set you up for the journey home and time to do your final packing morning coffee will be served in the Sun Lounge before final goodbyes.
