World Firework Championships 2010
In a complete break from previous years and in a new format for 2010 see the event take place over one spectacular weekend Friday 10th September to Sunday 12th September 2010 as the amazing pyrotechnic displays wow audiences for three nights in a row from a new location, with fireworks being set off from the beach between Central and South Piers where there’s space for spectators to gather and enjoy the show.
All displays subject to suitable weather conditions.

2010 - Illuminations
Due to open in this summer with a capacity for up to 10,000 people the Illuminations switch on will take place at the new Tower Headland on Friday 3rd September 2010 and will run until 7th November.
The Blackpool Illuminations run for approximately six miles from Squires Gate Lane to Redbank Road in Bispham
Currently the Swith on Concert Line up has yet to be announced, we will update this event as further details become due to our Blackpool hotel
